Le Boeing 737 de Lion Air qui s’est abîmé lundi matin au large de l’Indonésie avec 189 personnes à bord avait subi récemment des réparations suite à un problème technique, a dit à l’AFP le PDG de la compagnie aérienne indonésienne Edward Sirait.

L’appareil “a été réparé à Denpasar”, sur l’île de Bali, “puis a volé vers Jakarta”. “Les techniciens à Jakarta ont reçu des notes et ont fait une autre réparation avant qu’il ne reparte vers Pangkal Pinai”, la destination qu’il devait rejoindre lundi, a précisé le responsable interrogé par l’AFP, tout en expliquant qu’il s’agissait “d’une procédure normale”.
